Beauty Packaging magazine has announced its upcoming Trends session for this year’s HBA Global Expo, scheduled for the opening day of the show, September 28, at 3pm, at Manhattan’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

“Trends in Celebrity Fragrance Packaging,” will feature Nirav Mehta, director of Packaging Concept Development (PCD) and Innovation, Coty Beauty, and John Deputato, senior vice president and leader of the Beauty and Personal Care, Client Team Vertical, at SymphonyIRI Group. Beauty Packaging’s editor Jamie Matusow will moderate the event.

Attendees are promised an intriguing and entertaining session as they learn about the exciting world of Celebrity Fragrance Packaging. The two highly accomplished speakers will take a plunge into the history of Celebrity Fragrances and its recent trends, and will provide an inside look at what inspired the designs, how the essence of the celebrity is captured within packaging and how the creativity and innovation in execution contributed to the success of these celebrity brands.

Nirav Mehta is director of Packaging Concept Development and Innovation at Coty Beauty. Over the last 10 years in the beauty industry, he has held progressive leadership roles in Packaging Automation Engineering, Manufacturing and Package Development. In 2008, Nirav’s contribution led Coty to win the 2009 FiFi for Best Packaging of the Year Men’s Popular Appeal for creativity and innovation on the Tim McGraw fragrance.

John Deputato is a senior vice president and leader of the Beauty and Personal Care, Client Team Vertical, at SymphonyIRI Group. With more than 25 years’ experience in the health and beauty care industry, he has held a number of CPG marketing positions, including senior marketing executive for the Stetson brand at Coty and product manager for Old Spice at The Shulton Company.
